That looks just about as useful as the Windows Experience Index.

Also, you’re ignoring content subscription models, and you just called a $250 billion/year industry a “niche.” What?

Live sports and live news are virtually the only content categories that boxes like Apple TV have yet to solve.

Controversial question: if Jobs was still alive and still Disney’s largest single shareholder, I wonder if we’d already be watching ESPN on Apple TV without stupid cable subscriptions.

Kind reminder: tax rates are only up for debate when existing tax dollars are spent well. For the most part, we don’t do that yet/ever. See: US Congress.

Check out the entire point of this article being both proven and missed, in this conversation thread about which MB/P is which. Consumed by tangents!

I bet it’s pretty simple and blatant, like… Samsung was required to provide a catalog of internal e-mails, and giant chunks of dates in Won Pyo Hong’s inbox/outbox were missing.

I’d be interested in the response – my 7D is too bulky and “conspicuous” when traveling. However, the idea of changing lens “ecosystems” scares me a little.

Third’d’d. I’m a /Film fan, but their site’s ad engine is a mess. Wish they were on the Chorus platform.

And somehow you think my issue is because he doesn’t have an Android port.
Uh… the first sentence of your argument against this one guy’s solo project, which was just launched, was: “iPhone only?”
What problems ’exactly" are your developers having with Android development?
You really need me to list the issues our small team will face, with custom UI elements for multiple screen resolutions and aspect ratios, QA processes for hundreds of device and config combinations, plus multiple versions across our user base? Ok, done.
And what kind of App are you developing?
Tsk tsk, I won’t tell yet.

Yaaaa I’m not really worried about the Android fanboy audience on this one post of this one site, but thank you for your concern.

Hell of a tangential connection to reach your argument. Not to mention there’s a fundamental flaw in it: you assume the federal government acts, responsibly, in the best interests of civilians.

You’re assuming the US government could manage the budgets of universities and healthcare responsibly. Aaand you’re wrong.

Ha! As soon as I saw this article on the NYT iOS app, I came to the Apple Core forums to see who fell for this nonsense first. ROCK5T3ADY wins!
If you’re PO’d at Apple for avoiding up to $2.4 billion in federal taxes last year, consider this: would you rather see that cash in the hands of Apple, or in the hands of the US government?
Who do you think is more responsible with their money? Who can and will do more with $2.4 billion to drive broader economic growth? I can’t think of a single federal budget category in which the US government would win out.
