Here a Food for thought "If a company puts a higher
value on actually
innovating and puts a
lower value on just
copying others then no
the consumer doesn’t lose. The only time the
consumer loses is when
copying others is
rewarded because in that
situation, no company in
their right mind would invest much in R&D. Why
innovative when there’s
not much benefit to it
since copies can be made
in a few months these
days? You might as well sit back and wait for
everybody else to take
the risks in new markets
and new designs.
Apple took a huge risk in
the iPad. They put billions into a market that had
always been a failure and
everyone claimed the iPad
would be a failure as well.
If it wasn’t a hit, they
would have lost out big. But when you are assured
of making big money for
innovating and taking
those big risks and
getting a winner, the big
risks are worth it and the consumer wins.

I really want to see
Ive take the stand.
Ive voice: "When you make a
product that is so… game
changing as the iPod, iPhone, and iPad have been… you
get… copycats. But, when the
product is not just game
changing… but truly special,
the copycats… they can be
quite large companies. And the lengths they will go to…
to justify their… shameless
ripoffs of my work… can be
hilarious.

you think usb3 Is better oh i forgot! everything apple must be hated right? you dumb apple haters never cease to amuse me.Thunderbolt blows USB3 away !and unlike you supporting your claim with facts here’s why:
usb3 PCIe external it is
5Gbit aggregate (duplex,
which not a single
Windows driver currently supports). TB is 10gBIt PER
channel, PER direction,
40gbit aggregate, = 8X as
fast, and it’s FORWARD
compatible to 100gbit
(80x as fast).
USB3 doesn;t do comitted
writes
USB3 doesn;t do RAID
USB3 doesn;t supprto NCQ
USB3 has significant CPU
overhead (especially in duplex, which is why no-
one is using it, 8 fold the
CPU impact of USB2 half
duplex PER PACKET).
USB3 has large latency
USB3 is not forward compatible to USB4
USB has lower wattage
(output)
USB3 only supports driver
based devices, TB supports
PCI anything, SATA, FW, USB, anything that can
communicate across a PCI
bus, without its own
additional drivers or CPU
impact at all.
USB3 is a peripheral bus, TB is a SYSTEM bus.
