People forget the fact that Intel bought StrongARM from DEC in the late 90s, but made a seemingly bad choice to get out of the ARM business right as it exploded in mobile.
Overdrive needs to team up with Google on this on their library lending. I wonder how they handle the DRM, and if it would be compatible with the epub lending model? If they could get the functionality similar to how the Overdrive Kindle lending works, but with epub, it would be pretty sweet.
Yet Google allows apps in the chrome store that allow you to block ads and skip pre-rolls in Youtube. That’s what makes this disingenuous. They don’t take stuff out of their own store that blocks ads on Youtube.
