Conspiracy theories have a great feature that is it can never be falsified. Every time it is disapproved, you just add another layer.

The problem with your imaginary scenario is this, Apple didn’t disappear Instapaper by Marco Arment before last year’s WWDC, Apple bought Siri and their new voice assistant was called, you guessed it, Siri.
Apple do not have a habit of rewriting history, if a story does not fit its narrative, Apple will simply act like it is unknown.
Besides, AppleTV is an iOS device, the ability of using an iOS device as an AirPlay receiver is not something Apple have not thought of, Apple chose to avoid implementing the functionality in current iPhone/iPod/iPad. If Apple have a change of heart and allowing it in the next iOS update, I don’t think you can say Apple copy the feature from Rogue Amoeba.

That’s simply not true. Rdio is still in the store, Kindle is still in the store.
AirFoil is too small a fish to be targeted for monetary reasons, Apple just do not like developers to play cat and mouse with it. Rogue Amoeba reverse engineered the AirPlay protocal and used a leaked private key to achieve the functionality in AirFoil Speaker 3.0
Do you really think Apple will be totally OK with this kind of behavior? Not to mention how is this app compete with Apple? You think Apple rather collects licensing fees from third party vendors instead of selling you an iPhone/iPod touch as a receiver?

Here is how Marco doesn’t sue. He does not like software patents and does not have any IP to sue Apple for.

And all smartphones have to look like an iPhone or be “inspired” by it until Lumia series come out.

Cheap craps they still are.

Go watch a baby with iPad video on YouTube.
It is not the only example of intuitive interface design, and babies explore everything, that being said, there are many times even with exploration a user interface fails to naturally make sense and people have to put more effort into adopting and memorizing its unintuitive ways.

Yes, it is hard to imagine. And the statistics do not include many smaller vendors (because for example it is quite frankly impossible to track down thousands of Chinese shops)
But nonetheless among major world brands of cellphone makers, Apple takes 75%~80% profit, Samsung 15%, all others are left with 5% and that’s if they are lucky to be not in the red.
After the initial shock, you’ll think to yourself: “That is wrong, Apple must be doing something shady/the total dominance simply can not last/I reject the reality and substitute with my own.” Take your time, eventually you’ll accept the fact and go on with your life.
