Am I missing something? Wikipedia’s article for TD-LTE says:
Downlink uses OFDMA, the highest rates up to 100Mbits/s to meet the requirements of high-speed data transmission;
To me – the most exciting thing is that this network is being built by two partners who have been big on unlimited data downloads.
Right now, I can get unlimited Clear Wireless internet for $49.99/mo, but their “4G” service caps out at 6Mbps. Even if they could deliver 1/3 of the technology’s promised 100mbps, they’d be providing real competition for cable and fiber ISPs.
