Well I guess if you have that much money you have to do something with it.
Not sure why I care what her opinion is, but good for her I guess.

They clearly have contempt for the people of this country, so they might as well have contempt for its court system too.

If VHS vs Beta could be decided by the porn industry, I’m not surprised that wireless charging will be decided by the coffee industry.

Because Bush was a Republican, and a rich white guy. Easy pickings for the media and comedians.

How can you continue to say this? He ended the war in Iraq THAT WAS ALREADY WINDING DOWN. He’s still got us in Afghanistan. Still dropping laser guided missiles from drones around the world.
Oh yeah, did you see the armed occupation of Boston a few weeks ago by the Federal, state, and local police departments? We had tanks in the street, martial law declared (illegally in my opinion) and the guy says NOTHING. And under his presidency, civil rights have declined faster than ever thought possible under Bush. But it’s okay, he means well.
Open your eyes. He’s not a progressive, he’s a self-centered egotist. Continues to have his 1% parties in the White House while the tours are shut down to the public. The transparency he claimed he valued is only when it serves him. And he’s better than Bush? Based on what?!?

Not basing this in any actual knowledge of the law, but I don’t see the problem.
EA doesn’t pay for the right to use camouflage patterns, so why are guns any different? I would think a good case could be argued that weapons and systems used by the US and other military units around the world have lost some of thethe right to claim a trademark on their image. People generally aren’t buying BF3 or COD because it has an M4, or DEagle, or UMP. So you could argue what’s the difference between a story, or movie, or even TV news that features the images of these weapons? I’d agree with EA. This is fair use of the image and description of weapons. The person buying the game is purchasing the experience most likely, and the individual weapons are only ancillary to that experience in my opinion.

Somehow I don’t feel comforted by the fact that this company either has ethics or just hasn’t seen the business case yet.
There are plenty of companies willing to exploit that for DHS or FBI money. They have demonstrated an unquestionable appetite to be all knowing. Wonder if their agents would be exempt from iris scanning in public.
