For the lack of anything better to do, I have been trying to get this to work with Chrome Canary on OS X, but am having no joy.
I have enabled the setting in chrome://flags:
…and I get the menubar icon:
….but, despite having several emails/calendar events come in to the same account that I am signed into Canary with, nothing occurs.
Any ideas?
p.s:….also tried with Chrome Beta for Windows in Parallels, with no luck. Starting to think this might be a geographical thing, maybe? Although that is probably clutching at straws.
