And spewing out the ridiculous term “Obamaphone” as an insult makes an ass out of you.

Kudos! Nice job of parroting Tea Party talking points without doing any research into the free phone program.

Genius? Not anymore. Times have changed.
My GF just started a new job, the application process was done entirely online. No physical applications accepted. Only after HR sorted the electronic wheat from the chaff were applicants contacted.

I don’t miss the start menu at all. I haven’t found it to be intrusive, it’s easy to read, I can pin to the start page tiles of the programs I use most often, and I just start typing to search for anything else. In comparison, the start menu is an archaic UI.
There are plenty of 3rd party options. The best thing about Windows is if you don’t like a feature, there’s likely an program available to customize it.

Much in thanks to power users and 3rd party applications such as Tweetdeck, Twitter was popularized. Now Twitter seems gung ho on killing off the tools of power users.
I’m still using the final pre-Twitter buyout version of Tweetdeck Air for Windows (the best version, by far) before they began destroying it. I rue the day when I’ll be forced to move to another desktop app which is far less powerful.
First Google Reader, now Tweetdeck. Damn it.
