I’m thinking sprint. Sprint Cannot Afford to do the things it’s doing and they need help. The spend over the next 3 to 5 years will be astronomical and the stock is taking a real hit. T mobile could strengthen Sprint in the financial arm, help each other in spectrum and at 80 to 85 million total customers, they could demand better devices…
OR merge with Metro PCS. Same frequencies there. Nips on the heals of Sprint, by being virtually the same size as far as number of customers, and improve on their LTE offerings.
Or they could merge with US cellular…Not a lot of synergies there, but US cellular would get out of the roaming business.
Or build a foundation from Sprints networks and T mobile new roaming agreements and refarming efforts to create a unified network with the smaller companies…giving the smaller carriers more options for more devices…
Moving to a unified network based on established LTE from Verizon or ATT. Not gonna happen, Verizon and ATT make too much money and can demand device inventory to match their needs because of their vast consumer base. Devices attract customers…
