Google seems pretty happy with enforcing their duopoly with Apple.

Google seems to enjoy their duopoly with Apple. Can’t say I blame them, but honestly they seem a lot more like old Microsoft every day.

Poor services. Skype is light years behind Google’s new Hangouts service. Bing maps doesn’t have as many of as accurate POI information of Google Maps, and doesn’t do navigation at all. The Outlook App on WP8 pales in comparison to the GMail app on Android.
This is all coming from a huge WP8 fanboy. MS really needs to step up their services game. Looking at Hangouts vs Skype and its embarassing we still have to pay for group video chat in 2013.

I don’t believe you honestly believe that you think that Google plainly ignores the Mobile Framework from Microsoft because they “don’t have enough engineers”. This is political, plain and simple, and anyone giving them passes because of Google’s awful excuse that it doesn’t have enough marketshare is shilling, plain and simple.

So you’re saying that Illumiroom is a “worthless gimmick” when it produces the desired result without inducing motion sickness and is usable by > 1 person, but Oculus Rift is “glorius” when it reduces the experience to 1 person and makes people sick? Awesome argument dude.

Definitely. If I hadn’t been grandfathered into the 25 GB Skydrive plan I would look into this for cloud storage.

Hopefully 8.1 sees a lot of fixes to resolution-independence on the Desktop as well.

The blame doesn’t lie on one party alone. Microsoft built in the tools to allow resolution-independent scaling on the Desktop, but hasn’t pushed major third-party developers to implement them. All Microsoft can do is transition all their first-party applications to the correct implementation and start shipping Super-hi-res displays so that third-party apps are forced to catch up.

People should probably stick with Android if they like manufacturer “improvements” to the UI. One of the BEST things about WP8 and iOS is that they don’t allow this to happen.

What benefits does having the Playstation Store on your phone provide to users? Wouldn’t you just be able to find the same games on the Google Play Store?
Or, like MS, do they provide Async/Synchronous MP games that are cross platform in the Playstation Store?
