Look, I definitely believe there’s a lot of over reaction to the xbox one specs, the kinect is not a privacy invasion, in fact it’s less of a privacy invasion than a webcam on a laptop which is recording video every time it’s switched on where the vast majority of the time the Kinect will only be ‘listening’ for pre-defined voice commands.

The 24 hour internet check in is a means to stop games from being copied once they’re installed, upside is you can play games without the disc and will certainly get better load times from the ‘slower-than-DVD’ medium that is blu-ray’. The definite downside is it won’t work when your internet or Microsofts servers aren’t working (for whatever reason).

And Microsoft’s (and most importantly the publishers) DRM policy on used games is retarded.

But your post does nothing other than miss the point completely and doesn’t forward any reasonable debate on the subject.

Gaikai is not the main feature of the PS4. PS3 games can still be played on a PS3 that a lot of potential PS4 owners will still have. And the PS4 will still allow for unlimited game trades if the publisher allows it.

So there’s no need to be flippant just accept that as it appears right now (and the situation may change), Sony has made the more consumer friendly decisions at E3.
