I thought it was Gingerbread that Duarte had a tiny influence over and Honeycomb was his BIG push? That’s even what your link says (the Engadget one), that he was “driving the interface and design for Android 3.0.”
Wouldn’t that make sense as Honeycomb and ICS are very similar? I always thought of ICS as a polished version of 3.0.
