I read a book a while ago, cannot for the life of me remember its name. But it was kind of a crime investigation, and the heroine had to venture into an area made weird by quantum computers. They caused lowered gravity etc. What I found poignant was that these computers were developed by a search company just like google. In fact it’s name was also a rip-off of google which I also can’t remember.

Yeah. This doesn’t sound too different to normal drug use. The users don’t really care what’s in the drugs

I never owned an iPod and never understood why anyone would want to. By the time I was old enough to want to listen to music of my own, I had a phone which was more than capable.

Nor have I ever bought a song on iTunes
