As a professional industrial designer, I can say that Mike and Maaike and Warby Parker have done a top-notch job making this look as good as possible…..but it’s not good enough. People want to see your eyes. Glasses don’t block your eyes. These do.
False dichotomy. Perhaps you should balance your zeal for renewable resources with practical consideration for the inefficiency of renewables and the resulting economic impact on the poor and the economy in general. Also, I wouldn’t call exploration of the most efficient energy source yet discovered ‘wasteful.’
