If MS has to FORCE gamers to keep games to dry up the used market then these games MUST be created for gamers to keep. Since gamers often DO NOT keep their games THEN these games MUST be a FAILURE in MS eyes.

My point is why don’t you entice gamers to keep games longer with better games instead of hardware/ software restrictions. Then less games would fail not only in the eyes of MS but also in the eyes of gamers.

If it still doesn’t compute you need a firmware upgrade..

It’s more of keeping your finger on the pulse of your consumers. Who asked for the version of Sense in the One X? Maybe that’s why no one bought it.. My GS2 was upgraded to JellyBean and Touch Wiz is good enough now that I can leave it on my phone. The HTC One is vastly improved but that phone just came out.. HTC got lost along the way somewhere. They were the people’s champ. I used to EXCLUSIVELY buy HTC phones..

Who says it’s designed better? Apple can do things other companies can’t HTC isn’t Apple Android users like removable batteries and sd cards.. And while the ONE is tempting the EVO LTE looks ugly with that version of Sense. They let Sense get way too bloated at the same time Samsung and Moto toned down and refine their skins.. HTC needs to go back to it’s roots. Check out XDA everyone of those members are the “tech guy” for their friends and families. If they mainly pick Samsung it WILL have an effect on market perception..

They just need to charge a fair price. If the game is worth 80 bucks charge 80. If it is 20 charge 20. Consumers aren’t going to accept all these double charges and nonsense, wait and see.

Used games isn’t free you have to buy the game. Since an authorized disc can’t be played more than once at a time. The usage license is never broken and the dev has been compensated fully. So paying an extra fee to used something that has already been completely paid for is not supporting used games. It deserves an *. What if you had to pay a fee to buy a used car to the manufacturer.

Ignorance is bliss aint it?

If a manufacturer’s business model is to sell you a game and for you to keep it forever so others have to buy it new and you don’t, then it FAILED PERIOD. Not at being a game but at being a PRODUCT that fits a CERTAIN business model. Because of this FAILURE they are setting up an artificial barrier that FORCES YOU TO KEEP A GAME LONGER THAN YOU OTHERWISE WOULD. If people never traded games there wouldn’t be a need for these restrictions.

Try to follow the damn conversation we aren’t talking about art and enjoyment are we? We are talking about game manufacturers trying to force extra sales onto the market.. We aren’t talking about game quality here. If the manufacturer’s wanted you to be done with a game after you beat it then they wouldn’t update DLC or being using these restrictions. So yes ANY game that gets traded failed in the EYES OF WHOEVER is authorizing these used game restrictions..
