That end bit sounded a bit creepy: “have you ever wondered where most of your friends are” initiate creepy old man voice “so have we………..”. Apart from that some pretty solid new features :D

Bubble alert! I’ll be betting AGAINST Facebook in the long run. There are only so many adds you can force on people in the long run, personally I think Google has found a happy balance and I am already getting sick of the FB capitalization. No sane person would take a loan for 100x their current annual earnings, why should a company do a similar thing?

Don’t worry Thorsten Heins, in it to win it is good in all, but unlikely at the moment. Its the taking part that counts.

True, makes me wonder why MS decided to lock down the required hardware for WP7 so hard. There are good reasons but definite downsides.

Commenting on Engadget made me fear for my life, I though a Apple / Google / Microsoft fanboy lynch mob would come and find me if I made even the slightest criticism.

Looking forward to more info :) Are you going to be concentrating on iOS apps or be platform agnostic and just review the apps disregarding which platform? (P.S either is good) (P.S.S as an android user, pictures of swords and sworcery ep make me highly jealous!)

Wait for next weeks GS3 announcement and then make your mind up. If its crappy then I highly recommend the Nexus if you love a pure android experience! the X one is also a beauty, screen is best par none, but the battery life is distinctly average.

I’ll let you know when the second core on my dual-core kicks in! I don’t care much for multitasking on my mobile device apart from having Spotify running constantly.

My housemate just got the X One, and I must say you are correct, the screen is gorgeous and its a lovely looking and feeling product. in terms of memory, he got a 25GB free Drop-box account with the phone, so if you have good WiFi connectivity in your area you should be OK. The beats audio sounded good when just watching a vid with no headphones, a bit tinny but defiantly the best external audio from a mobile device. notifications on ICS are quite a bit like on iPhone 4, you should have no problem adjusting. Tegra three is snappy, but battery life is pretty average. My mate installed a custom ROM and said it helped with battery life, getting well over a full day of 3G ect. I wouldn’t call the Lumia 900 a upgrade from the iPhone 4, its such a lovely looking phone but the internals let it down, 512MB of RAM just isn’t enough for a flagship smartphone in my eyes. I recommend you pop into your carrier’s store and just have a play with the One X, within 30 seconds of holding it your mind will be made up! good luck bro :D

Totally, that why I usually go for metal cased phones if possible, while heavier they feel to me a more robust and quality product. Then again a friend of mine has an GS2, and personally it felt a bit light and plastic-y at first, but that phone has taken some serious hits and has come out fine.

I agree with what you say about battery tech and the need for more efficient phones, but in the mean time I would still like to see a viable option for a beefier battery. I think there is too much of a drive for more features and bigger specs while usage models are very limited with the current batteries. Didn’t realize AMOLED offered power savings! :D
