I’m still lusting after the Asus Zenwatch. Not sure what I’ll go for next.
That must play its part.
Given the popularity of the iPhone/iPad & apple’s lack of staggered updates, OTA updates over the cellular network could be a problem.
I’ll leave my 4s for now. Not much point with such old hardware.
Shut up and take my bandwidth!
As long as its designed by someone in California, you should be fine.
Doesn’t matter where it is manufactured.
With a quick flex of the chassis, iPhone 6’s are primed to blow!
Lollipop has made me love the Nexus5 even more.
This is easily the most significant Android release in recent years.
Great news so far.

I expect my desktop to last a good few years yet (GPU upgrade next) but the oldest PC we have running in the house is this little guy:
Intel Core2Quad Q6600 (stock)
AMD Radeon 5450 1GB
4 GB DDR2
Asus P5KPL-AM motherboard
Most demanding things it is used for is she plays Minecraft, Sim City, uses Plex, listens to her music and typical YouTube/Netflix/BBC iPlayer viewing. Could do with an SSD to give it a new lease of life which I’ll most likely do for her.
Had the hardware for a good few years and it’s been flawless.
My personal PC is
AMD FX 8320
AMD Radeon 7850 2GB
M5A97 R2.0 motherboard
Windows 8.1/Ubuntu dual boot.
I game on mine and do some basic Photoshop elements editing, video encoding. Also acts as our Plex Media server.
I’ve mentioned this hardware before but there is no need for a consumer tablet, laced with rubber when things like the Panasonic Toughpad exists.
I’m thinking this has more to do with $$$ than it does features and hardiness.
Also features pen input and performs amazingly (I have one for work).

It doesn’t all the time.
It goes both ways, depending on the backgrounds it seems to me.
I own shares in none of these. :(
In dev mode if it supports legacy boot then yes, Linux is an option.
Windows doesn’t work however.
Not everyone is affluent as you it seems. Some people out there have to take price into consideration.
