Living in Chicago, I’m very intrigued by how messed up the rental market is in other metro areas. We have it really easy compared to almost any other big city. Cheap, plentiful apartments in great neighborhoods and easy access to anywhere in the city via public transit. I’ve never been pressured by a landlord or rental agent, never been baited-and-switched, and haven’t had issues with apartment maintenance.
Reading stuff like this certainly makes me realize how good we have it here comparatively, although we do have other issues (bankrupt governments at every level, Chicago politics, gun crime, high taxes).
Baby steps for Microsoft. When seemingly most people have no idea WP8 even exists, the first step is getting that knowledge out there. Once people understand that there is an alternative, then they can start in with the features.
