Why? People who have an Xbox and a TV already have “Microsoft TV” as you put it. We just aren’t forced into buying a specific model TV with the service built-in (unlike the rumored AppleTV-next is.)

Really? What constitutes as “way too many” in your book? HP had roughly 250k employees World Wide prior to the EDS merger a few years ago. A lot of those are Services, and again World Wide.

It’s in Google’s best interest to not implement a DNT mechanism. They may eventually do it, but very well may take their sweet time.

Really? Wasn’t .net rolled into WinRT for backwards compatibility? Yes, MS is dropping .Net CLR after v5, but WinRT is what’s replacing .net so it’s core to the OS. No more of a separate package to install, or worry about if you have the right CLR.

While I don’t agree with Tandrew’s opinion of The Counting Crows, I find it extremely funny that in order for you to buy the album, you need iTunes. What a joke. I’ll stick to Last.fm and Zune (soon to be “Woodstock”) thank you very much.
