Sorry, I didnt realise that sony have a 2kg 15 inch laptop with the option for a 1tb ssd, blueray drive and comes standard with a 1080p dislay. Thats IPS. That speced lowest is still better speced, cheaper and ligher than the lowest mbp 15 As much as I think that a retina display on a laptop is good, having a big gpu constantly on to power it doesnt seem that good.

My 13" 2009 Macbook pro has had its top case, screen, bottom case, cd drive, hard drive, hard drive ribbon 2x, keyboard and trackpad replaced.
I think apple has some pretty big qc problems.

I can’t disagree with that more. I have a desire HD (for the yanks Inspire 4G) with a 1ghz S2 and it runs fine… as in, like a mid range phone. Sure, it isnt lightning quick but what year old phone is?

That makes no sense…
1. You can’t consciously control the dilation of your pupil.
2. It would make more sense for aperture considering that is what your pupil is… an aperture diagram…
