Your point of view is exactly why Paul left the Internet in the first place. Unless I’m reading this article incorrectly, it’s about his finding, after a year of trying, that you (and he) were/are wrong.
What negative is there in being able to communicate at the speed of light? It’s no more “real” to live like it’s 1960 and lose contact with everyone who doesn’t live in the same town as you.

Anyway, there is no x86 back catalog in the Store worth writing about – it’s not very well-stocked in general and what is there is overwhelmingly cross-platform (ARM and x86, so using WinRT).
