I love Microsoft’s online services. Windows 8 is junk, Windows Phone 8 is junk, XBOX One junk, but their online services are just awesome!

SkyDrive is MUCH better than Dropbox or Google Drive, for file management and especially for photo storage, just destroys both.

And Outlook.com is the only online service that actually lets you change your email name, as in name@outlook.com, you can change it to noname@outlook.com. You cannot do this on Google or Yahoo or any other email service. This is brilliant!

And yes, aliases are also really good idea and very handy.

Exactly.

If you want a locked down ecosystem with a controlled experience, elegance and fludity get iOS.
If you want functionality, openness, versatility and variety get Android.

Now what can WP offer? Nothing.

This is not a good idea.

Because now, if I’m a developer of some popular app, I will feel like a sucker for developing it for WP without getting $100 grand from Microsoft. So, I’ll wait it out till they contact me and offer me the money to develop it. Otherwise it’s not worth it.

But I guess Microsoft is desperate to keep this Metro Windows Phone junk relevant.

Metro UI is just so terrible. iOS is minimalistic and clean, Metro is just lazy, unimaginative and bad.

Also a notification centre? I guess that live tiles paradigm has failed?

SkyDrive files list, etc… should be vertical scrolling.
