It’ll be interesting to see then, I suppose, since I’ll be getting the new iPhone once its out. I don’t have Force GPU Acceleration on though, so that’s definitely not the issue. Honestly, when they crash, it usually feels like its running out of RAM, although I know that’s normally not the case. It does get low sometimes though…

I don’t hate my Gnex, but I don’t love it like I love, for instance, my iPad. ESPECIALLY if you dno’t want to use Google services, I would steer clear of Android. They’re definitely the biggest plus to the OS…
As for the Exchange stuff, I’ve never done it, but I’m sure that won’t be an issue. I used to work at a big insurance company that issued Droid X’s and we used Exchange, so it must be doable.

Galaxy S2’s cam is comprabable, but like I said, I never used the One X’s, so I can’t speak on that personally.
Far as crashing, I have a 3g iPad, no iPhone, but I can confirm that at least in my personal use, that statistic you mentioned means nothing. Also, source link? I just wonder about this because my Gnex is brand new Nexus hardware, with basically top of the line specs, and I get WAY WAY WAY more app crashes on that than on my iPad, which I’d say is decently comparable to the iPhone since most of the internals are the same.

I am a Mac user for my personal life. I use Windows and Linux at work. Android works OK with all operating systems, because it looks like a disk…Which is fine, but not great.

Gotta love when they admit they screwed up a phone’s operation due to Sense.

Prior OG Droid user, Current Gnex user…Getting an iPhone as soon as the next version comes out. Here’s what you can expect, in my experience at least:
-Lower quality desktop integration, better cloud integration if you use Google services. Gmail, Calendar, and Drive are absolutely awesome. But IMO, iLife + iPhone is much better for photo/movie editing. If you don’t do much of that, you’ll probably love the Android ecosystem.
-Speaking of the ecosystem…The third party app situation is evening out, but its not quite there, so you’ll have a small drop in quality there.
-Camera won’t be as good as the iPhone’s, almost regardless of what phone you choose, but I haven’t used the HTC One series at all.
-Sweet customization if you root. Even if you don’t, its more than the iPhone’s.
-More weird things happening in apps. Even if you don’t root or anything, the apps on Android tend to be like…90 or 95% quality compared to the same app in iOS. So expect some force closing or just strange behavior.
Just one man’s opinion!

Guess what I don’t understand is, if its not OTA, how are carriers involved?

That would be sweet. I don’t remember reading that. That’d definitely make a difference.

Plus the bigger screen will use more battery as well, all other things being equal.

K then assume it uses the same amount of power, which is doubtful, but assume it does. Still didn’t up the ante.

Quad core though…My Gnex w/ extended battery (2100mAh) JUST gets through the day with normal usage. AKA same battery w/ quad core probably won’t cut it. For my usage at least.

That is WAY too big, for me at least. After the 4.65" G-Nex I’m using now, I can’t WAIT to get to a phone that’s around 4 inches.
