Same here. Finally had to de-auth a couple weeks ago when I bought my One X, because I really did have 10 legit connections (3 windows machines, the rest phones and tablets).
Didn’t really pain me to remove six of my mobile devices (SGS1, Tab 7", Tab 10.1, Nook Color, SGS2, Galaxy Nexus) since they’re all in a junk drawer now.

Mine’s a UK SIM-free.
AT&T doesn’t have a One X as far as I’m concerned…locked bootloader and tiny storage makes it a non-phone for me despite having an S4 and LTE. :)

I have the problem on my GSM HTC One X, Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and my Galaxy Note with both Gingerbread and ICS.
So yeah, there’s a problem, but hey, it’s a free leak of an unfinished product.

Long press Home for Recent Apps and long p;ress Menu for Search is pretty standard on Samsung Galaxy devices and works well on ICS.
Gotta say, after getting a custom ROM installed in my Euro One X that remaps Menu to the Recent Apps button and Recent Apps from a long press of the Home key, I like it a whole helluva lot more. Had that feature not been hacked in, I might well have been tempted with the SGS3 despite how much it makes my eyes bleed to look at the industrial design.
With the hack, the three dot menu thing is gone, and if you hit the new “menu” capacaiive key in an ICS/Holo-Theme app, it opens that top right menu, which is actually MUCH easier than trying to get a finger or thumb all the way up there on a large device like the One X. One something like Chrome Beta where you’re using the menu a LOT to navigate, it’s a godsend
TL;DR there’s always a use case for hardware buttons, and M. Duarte made a few bad calls with ICS regarding navigation.

If it helps, that’s better than the specs of my primary development rig other than RAM (QX9650, 5850 1GB).

Samsung has the CDMA/LTE combo down with Exynos, but there’s been something tricky (or costly) about building a GSM-HSPA/LTE radio that works with 45nm Exynos. Hopefully they’ve solved that with the 32nm part.
