I think Facebook and Viber are the two options with the best features. Recently, Viber made an app for computers, so even if your at home on your Mac, Windows or even Linux computer, you can have Viber open and talk to all the people you normally do. And the best part is that both these messaging services SYNC whether you’re on mobile or the desktop application. Viber also allows you to send and receive free SMS messages.
Facebook, all you need is a data connection, same as Viber, and you’re good. It syncs, it’s fast, reliable and most people have Facebook. Sure SMS will always be more reliable, but it takes too long. It takes about 30 seconds for a message to be sent and received on the other end; then it takes another 30 seconds for the message to be sent from the other person’s end and back to you.

If a company really wanted a gigabit network, they could just setup a 1000Base-T network using CAT5e cables. This eliminates interference and the idea of wireless hackers entirely. Sure it’s more secure than WiFi, but why use it if all you have is desktops?
It’s an interesting advance in technology, nonetheless, but I don’t see any real point in it. Hopefully this technology expands to do something other than networking for simple work internet computing.

But if I’m paying for 4GB of data, why shouldn’t I be able to use it in any way I want? It only makes sense that regardless of how, you should be able to use all the data you pay for. Last time I checked, I paid for 4GB of 4G data bandwidth, not for 2GB of 4G bandwidth then throttling and warnings.
If I pay for the data I should be able to use it however I like. If I pay for unlimited, they should expect me to be using a lot of data. If I were only going to use 2GB of data, I’d pay for the 2GB data plan, not the 10GB or unlimited. Does it matter how I use it? No, and it shouldn’t. I could use it on my phone or I could use it on my laptop. Which would I prefer? My laptop obviously because it has a larger screen.

ROM stands for read-only memory and I don’t think many people have the technical prowess to be able to install ROM on the phone. I wish more people knew what ROM was :)

Similar to the way Viber works, I believe. Anytime I re-image my phone with custom firmware to the ROM, I lose my appdata but when I install Viber, all my contacts are there and all I have to do is just message them. I’m not sure but I think they offer regular SMS services as well. Hm…

Yes, past aside, Android is winning. I personally think the Twitter app looks beautiful and works wonders on the Android. I’m not sure but I don’t think the iPhone has the new twitter design.

Considering this game will be based on an entirely new storyline, new engine and will be on a new console is reason enough for me to believe that this will not just be a recycled game this time around. They like to keep the multiplayer similar to previous games so people enjoy playing it and they can easily adapt to any small changes and stay competitive. There are still a lot of differences, you just don’t notice them when changing from game to game.

I know. It’s really quite a ludacris situation we’re in here. Most of the callers are younger than 15 years old and don’t know what they’re actually doing to SWAT forces and the people who are on the other end. It’s really a dangerous thing to do and only someone so puerile and careless would ever do such a stupid thing.

Obviously. Blu-Ray is a much higher quality than DVDs. This is like saying a computer with an i7 8GB RAM and 3x GTX Titan’s should be at a lower cost than an i3 2GB RAM and built on graphics?

Exactly, because the app automatically did it without you knowing. This is not good.
My first experience with this stupid non-Play updating system was that I had an ongoing notification saying Facebook was updating that never went away. Turned it off and back on, still there. Uninstalled Facebook and it was still in my notifications.

Honestly, I think it would be bad for competition to not release details, but then again, TMOBILE and Sprint were both forced to push their availability dates back, making them look like fools. I think it’s smart Verizon hasn’t released details yet, simply because you never know what could happen when it comes to these kind of things.

Also, many people overestimate how much bandwidth is actually needed to run multiplayer games and how much the gaming provider actually gives you. For example, I have ~ 30Mbps download and 5Mbps upload, but testing my connection with my PS3, I get a maximum of 13Mbps and in Call of Duty, my bandwidth shows as 3Mbps.
