If it’s under $20 you can count me in for a copy. $9.99 is a good price point for a re-release. $14.99 maybe if you enhance it a fair amount for the current platform.

Plex! You could easily pick up the $99 Vizio box coming out this Summer and spend no more than the Apple TV would have cost you.

It doesn’t happen that way. The anxiety will be palpable in every affected area.

“I’m a post-secondary student”— You’re not what he’s talking about here.
This demographic in question is opening like 1 or 2 Word files a year and not using any other software in the Microsoft Office suite. For whatever reason they feel think they need it installed.

I’ll have to take your word for it as I don’t have the Logitech product. My Sony set works just fine. We use Plex exclusively for playing video files— no time is spent attempting to use DLNA or trying to convince the Google TV to play some random file from a torrent.
I’m always curious to hear— what’s the ATV/Boxee doing that you want your Revue to do? I long considered a Boxee Box but never liked the lack of control on movie & TV libraries. It seemed like it pulled from a single source & that was all you get.

Google Docs has a pretty neat ability to restore previous versions. This document is showing revisions back to January (not sure when this was created).
I restored to the last edit from yesterday and tried to secure it ;/

They seem to be that way. They’ve yet to release a Google TV app yet they already have a base in the mobile Android code.

It looks like it has NHL too. Also I thought it had a browser & live TV via an add on dongle?

I think ‘UI’ is not really the culprit here— maybe more so the content discovery experience? I find navigating the actual interface fairly easy. I’m more likely to type to find a title on my Google TV where as with Apple TV generally I must equally know what I want first except I’ll buy from iTunes so it’s already in the Apple TV library when I sit down.
Honestly I think they all lose in this area. I never just browse for things to watch outside of Netflix (where the money is already spent). I know what I want first.

Great! Sorry if I was a little harsh.
You should add a column for native Plex client support. I think Google TV is the only one not requiring a jailbreak, root or installation of unsigned code?? It’s a modern mans XBMC.

Wow the amount of Google TV misinformation in that chart is astounding. I count 12 items indicated as not part of Google TV which most definitely are supported/included with the platform. That’s really awful.
Amazon Video (results built right into the native search function as well the native TV & Movies app)
YouTube, probably one of the best YouTube experience on any device
via the Spotlight Gallery (read HTML5 websites released with v1 of Google TV):
TuneIn
Vimeo
HBO Go
NHL
Crackle
Epix
Picasa is built right into the native Photos application along with Flickr
No browser? It’s running Chrome v11 with Flash 10.2 — more browser than anyone else!
Lastly it does indeed have Live TV support, TV models such as those by Sony have a built in tuner with guide software populated by TV Guide data. It has native interface with Dish and the non-TV models support HDMI Pass Through if your cable box is relatively modern enough to have HDMI.
