I’m totally just riding off the back of this first comment but it’s so I hope more people see this…
remix.nin.com is an official website Trent set up where people can download and remix his songs and upload them to share with other people.
Also, check out the featured playlists section in the bottom right of the web page and you can get access to The Downward Spiral in a completely instrumental form. It’s very cool, and if you’re a NIN fan like me, you want every version of his music that you can find!

Exactly! It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to have a dev kit that doesn’t even have the same brand of GPU in the thing. Bizarre.

It doesn’t they’re just not even on the same level.
Especially since the design philosophy of the Pro goes flies in the face of the whole market focus of that product. You don’t buy an Exige or a Lambo to work construction, they lack the flexibility needed to get things done when it counts.

Oh it absolutely is. But the potential positives for a lot of people far outweigh those negatives. Think about it! Access to the internet and a Google account, versus no access to the internet. Seriously.

Right, one is just a computer that was done just to see if they could in a unique form factor to no meaningful benefit to the consumer. An incredible hardware design sure, but what’s the point.
The other potentially brings a company new users and allows those people to have access to something they could not have for the foreseeable future that could forever change their lives.

I realize that Apple is incredibly pompous and full of themselves and it’s really unattractive. Their company attitude along with the vast majority of their decisions actively pushes me away from their products and ecosystem.
There’s nothing wrong with an early build. I’m just saying don’t set yourself up with such ridiculous claims like design perfection and then pump out some glaringly atrocious ones. You don’t seem to realize how my comment has no correlation to it being a developer preview. Some of these designs should have never made it past initial previs.

Right, especially after that opening animation about how everything they do is about perfection and finding the singular experience to push on everyone because choices are bad. Some of their icons and design choices are startlingly poor. Even for a beta.

Define city. I don’t remember any levels on the same scale as the ones seen in BF4. Especially in terms of verticality. I can’t imagine having to design a game where you could bring down every skyscraper. It would be cool, but it sounds like a nightmare and it would also get in the way of the basic gameplay.
That being said, I think this article is a bit silly. We would all love to be able to go inside every building in a GTA or other open world gaming, but we all know that simply isn’t going to happen. So how could anyone have possibly imagined that would be the case here?

Did I really miss a joke somewhere? I saw his joke about them saying there’s no truth in advertisement, meaning “hey look Sony is being honest in showing a video that demonstrates that the controller sucks.” Hence my response.

What sucked about the controller in particular because I didn’t notice anything. The only thing I saw was how 1-1 the Sony Move style tracking continues to prove to be the most accurate of any of these motion control options.
This is an unexciting and poor usage of it, but to me the Move has still been the most fun because of how damned accurate it is. It tracks to such minor adjustments in his movements at the 24 second mark. I’m completely fine with Sony not trying to push this on us all, but it’s nice to know that it’s built right into the controller and I don’t need a whole bunch of other separate accessories.

Wait a minute, what is so amazing about it? It has some interesting features, but it’s just a whole bunch of products that have existed elsewhere combined into one. The kinect is updated and now it has video passthrough. I would not classify that as amazing just yet.

It’s definitely similar, been using that for ages. I actually think that icon pack looks even better. Especially when you turn on small icons.
