They can be great in place of 4 way stops at light intersections but they can also be a nightmare. They put two back to back in my hometown on one of the busy streets at two of the busiest intersections. The traffic lights were definitely better in that situation.

The ad attacks the other product rather than just focusing on the Windows tab itself. It seems like it’s trying to make people who bought iPads feel dumb for doing so which is just about the worst tactic you could take because it alienates a whole (and rather large) group of people who may be interested in your product. Attack ads are the worst.

To be fair to the X’s, they sometimes mean something. The X in OSX is a nod at it’s UniX underpinning. The Xbox was designed by some guys from the DirectX team so it was the DirectXbox. That X means something too.

A messaging service is only as good as it’s users. Most of my friends are very non-techy. It takes a lot to get them to try a new service they’ve never heard of like WhatsApp (Despite my liking it). Facebook messenger is very popular since most people have Facebook, but most would still prefer SMS.

BBM has a shot with people like that since they’ve likely heard of it and even if they never had a Blackberry they likely remember people being nuts over it.

If my friends use it, I’ll use it.

I’m so sick of all the FOX News hate. Yeah, they’re not really what I would call a reliable source of information. Either is MSNBC. CNN is the closest to the middle but still. They’re all horrible propaganda machines.
