Eh? If you look at the design its clearly a flat design. Everything is flat on their respective layer and then you pull in transparent layers that lie on top of your base layer which is meant to give it a feeling of depth.

They do, might be difficult though because Apple will say that Android also breaches it and they probably don’t want to be suing the two biggest companies in tech at the same time.

bad enough to prevent users from doing something pretty fundamental — making calls
They didn’t seem to mind when the phone couldn’t make calls

Not really, AP has an explanation. There will be the beats driver which allows the speakers to work but there won’t be any beats software.
So you get two excellent speakers but you don’t get any of the software magic that goes with them in sense.

It is fully integrated with Match or other apple music services.
No it is not, why is this so hard for people to understand. They are separate.

Ok so I think people are a bit confused.
This isn’t iTunes match. This is a music discovery engine exactly like pandora.
You can not play a song of your choosing on iTunes Radio, you are specifically banned from doing so, exactly like Pandora
iTunes match is a separate service. If you pay for iTunes match Apple will remove the ads from iTunes Radio for you (a separate service)
What do we really want from a music service anyway
I don’t know. Personally I want access to every track on earth and to play itas many times as I want as often as I want. That is why I use spotify. Your use case might be different.

doesn’t upload your music to the “cloud”.
Neither does this, that is not what iTunes match is → hence the name and this isn’t iTunes match, this is iTunes Radio

Yup, it does in the One though to be fair.
An example of where it gets in the way I think is the iPhone design with the one button layout. As the OS got more complicated and needed more buttons they refused to add them and now you have this ridiculous scenario where you have to tap the home button, one, two, three times to preform different actions

Why do people think the S4 is a better design?
Design has two parts – aesthetics and functionality
For some the functionality of the micro SD card and the removable battery outweigh the ugliness of the plastic.
They’re stupid though, on board storage is more useful because you can use it for apps and with the One you get double the on board storage for the same price. On top of that you have google music for music streaming, google photos for photo storage and google drive for everything else.

If you buy 6 or less it might be worth it depending on precise your music tastes are.
If you buy more than 6 a month then you should go with spotify.
Personally: I didn’t buy more than 6 a month previously however now that I use spotify I definitely listen to more than 6 new songs a month because it is included. I would find it impossible to go back.

Ad-free streaming radio for $2 a month is a game changer. Who else does that?
Pandora

It does show you songs previously played,,you can (I guess) touch them to replay?
As does Pandora and it doesn’t allow you to replay so I would seriously doubt that.
You can make a station based on an artist or song
Same with Pandora, you give it an artist or song and it finds similar artists/songs. It specifically blocks you from choosing which songs to play. If you go the Pandora FAQ they tell you why → license agreements

That’s not true. The main complaint is expandability (or lack there of). We know that by looking at it. It is an undisputed fact that you need space in order to expand not just the obvious – space to fit parts but also for airflow. If you design machine in a factory you can design the airflow perfectly so it stays cool, when you expand it the airflow requirements change so you need to over cool the machine.
People are angry because this computer had a very select userbase that don’t give two shits about how it looks or how small it is. They want it to be powerful and flexible. This is (was) the only apple machine that was those things and you pay your sweet dollars to get it.
It feels like Apple made it smaller and abstract just so they could say that quote that is going to be printed everywhere by tomorrow. Its certainly not because they listened to their customers because nobody wants this.

So do the GE phones. Having said that Google’s direction these days is very app update where possible instead of OS updates. Skins aren’t as much of a liability as they used to be.

Yup. Personally I would consider your options though. Stock android is great but OEMs are actually adding some really cool stuff these days (see: HTC Zoe). I just bought a One and I spent a long time considering if I wanted stock or Sense for Beats and Zoe, I eventually went with Sense.

Its exactly the same as pandora. It will play the first song from the artist you searched for and then find similar artists for all subsequent songs. They actively try to prevent you playing whatever song you are looking for to force you to purchase, this is how this system works. Its in contrast to the spotify method where you pay your 10 dollars a month and you get to listen to everything unlimited times.

They aren’t comparable. iTunes Radio will not allow you to play a song that you want to play. You need to fork over the cash. To buy a song on iTunes its often over a dollar.
So the comparison should be:
Are you going to want to play 7ish specific songs (or more) per month. If yes then go with spotify.
If you don’t have specific music tastes and just want to listen to a genre then go with iTunes Radio.
Saying that iTunes Match is comparable is stupid though as you still have to pay for your music. Its a 25 dollar base that you have to add on to. Spotify is 120 all inclusive.
