I’m a new T-Mobile customer after leaving Sprint for the Q10. I know LTE hasn’t been officially announced in NYC but it started showing up in my neck of the Bronx last Friday and in a few other areas of the Bronx as well. Looks like T-Mobile is beating Sprint to the LTE punch, at least here.

As long as Google keeps the BlackBerry 10 app going, then I won’t worry about them buying Waze.

Except there was a beta version for BB7 and BB10 has Waze as well (officially in BB World for the Z10).

I used to do the reverse commute out of NYC into Jersey for years. The morning commute usually went smooth. The commute home could be a nightmare more often than not. The GW Bridge was usually the sticking point where it would take me 30 minutes just to get to the tolls and another 20 to finally get to the highway where I can head home with some speed. There were some days where I’d take another way home to avoid it (if I checked out the traffic before leaving). Even with all that, I wouldn’t want to give up control of my car. I’d much rather drive somewhere than fly (and I have done so).

As long as self-driving cars aren’t mandated, I’m cool with it. I enjoy driving way too much to give it up. I’ll deal with traffic jams and everything else that comes along with it. I’ll be one of the few driving on my own.

If self driving cars are wanted, go for it. As for me, I want to be the one in control of the car (preferably a stick shift).
