Political deadlock prevents any policy from being enacted that would address a grievance felt by those that propose a political action… say a budget that decreasing the public debt burden of future generations or a health care law that expands access to medical care.
What does Fanboyism prevent today? Did fanboyism prevent you from using a mobile device, or prevent Samsung from creating a mobile device, or Best Buy from selling a mobile device?
Don’t confuse an impasse to action with noise.

Posting on FaceBook your desire to be organ harvested does not replace authorization from your Next of Kin prior to harvesting.
If you want to be a donor, first of all thank you for your gift to a stranger whose life will benefit as a result. Selfless acts of kindness should be recognized.
That said, the donor has a responsibility to let their next of kin know, because they are going to get a call to confirm they can take your organs, and if they don’t know that’s what you would want them to do you filling out a organ donor card is moot.
A Facebook status does not replace that legal requirement. FaceBook is not legal consent.
