Yep. I have a theory that freemium buyers and premium buyers are barely overlapping sets or consumers.

Thanks, yes all mine.
The older ones were all done on a 3rd gen Retina iPad with a cheap Belkin stylus and that Bamboo. The faces (a bit of a project for me last month because I couldn’t draw people) were all on the iPad mini with an Adonit Jot.
The Jot is vastly more accurate (better than an S Pen on the Samsung Note 8.0), but it’s a bit of an acquired taste. And yet, the results I produce with it are almost indistinguishable from my sketches with real paper and pencils (see here).

Gmail has better and more responsive spam filtering than iCloud, in my experience (directly and via my immediate family).

Instabuy!
Seriously, that’s exactly what I’m after. Anything else they add will be a bonus.

Scrivener is the reason I made my first Hackintosh, which was the reason I fell in love with OSX.
Worth a look. You can make it as simple or complex as you want.

On the subject of Safari and niceties:
HOW GREAT ARE SHARED LINKS?
While The Verge is busy calling iOS 7 confusing and saying that it’s all about Apple “playing catch-up” to the other OSs, I’m marvelling at the synchronised, personalised ‘reading list’ from all my friends and tweeps that has appeared on my iPhone and MacBook and will soon show up on my iPad. This will fundamentally change the way I consume information on the Internet.
How great is it? Pretty great.

Yep, but most of those are so minor that another 4 weeks would easily see them squashed, if they’re not already. I didn’t mean to imply that my bug is the only bug; just that it’s e only one that’s bitten me.
Despite the bugs listed above OS X Mavericks has had the smoothest Developer Preview out of the last 2 Developer Previews released (for OS X Lion, OS X Mountain Lion). If released, it could be used as a daily driver (at least on my system).
I agree.__

Then by all means, go for the iWork apps. Or perhaps even wait a month or so to find out whether the iWorks for iCloud suite is free/cheap because it really is very good.

+1 that.
(I also use a tiny 32GB USB thumb drive that barely pokes out of the USB port for Dropbox and Safari downloads (movies and TV shows, prior to shifting them off to my NAS)). That helps.

Not really. Win 8 apps flip out of the tile, iOS 7 apps just zoom. iOS has had this zooming animation since forever, they’ve just changed it slightly so that it originates at the location of the app rather than the middle of the springboard.
Edit: yeah, what Elvis beat me to saying.

Makes sense. I’ve been using it, and apart from one small bug involving missing multitouch gestures, it feels ready.

No… It’s iOS 7 on the iPad. Like iOS 6 but without the shiny and without the linen.

We will be able to deliver the full functionality from Android.
Okay, but not on iOS?
From desktops and any other device you will be able to send the SMS.
How? Desktops and most laptops do not have the cellular access they would require to send SMSs.

Game controllers for iPhone are a great idea and they have been around for a while with unofficial support but… I still don’t see a lot of the titles I really enjoy playing on my Vita on iPhones, nor anything similar to them.
Where’s Persona 4? Where is Wipeout 2048? Where is Gravity Rush? Little Big Planet? Disgaea?
Until now, almost all controllers have been forced to use the bluetooth keyboard API. That means no thumbsticks for most games and no API for developers. That is why. And that is why this is a big deal.

Every quarter Apple sells more iPod touch units than Nintendo sells 3DS units. On top of those iPod sales, there’s as many as 20 million iPads and 40 to 50 million iPhones sold. Each quarter.

It`s somewhere in between, we just have to get over those rigid categories!
Exactly! It’s not a bad tablet OR a bad laptop, it’s very good at the new category of being BOTH a bad tablet AND a bad laptop.
