From what I’ve seen it takes a bunch as you said then stitches them all together with objects it detects as moving removed.

Work desk since my desk at home is the couch, two 20-something inch monitors, Logitech wireless headset, Thermaltake TtEsports Challenger Pro keyboard, R.A.T 9 mouse, with a custom box below, also hooked up my Sony Vaio Duo11 to it with a wormhole switch from j5Create, which is a totally awesome bit of kit!
