a subset (or full) WinRT seems the likeliest scenario at this point.

Microsoft still (by and large) really sucks at these product announcements.

A bunch of suits reading from cue cards written by a marketing team, regurgitating keywords that they hope will please investors and make decent press headlines.

That being said, the new Xbox itself is interesting. They seemed to have improved on the 360 in every way while not messing around too much with things that already work well, like the controller.

Calling it an MMO is a stretch.
By stretch, I mean complete misuse of the term.

MMO’s are all online multiplayer games, but online multiplayer games are not all MMO’s.
