I really don’t see why they needed to release this phone? Just because it has an aluminium casing and some extra cam features?
Btw, that aluminium frame looks horrible.

The OIS does an amazing job, and the lighting itself looks quite nice.

And the whole earth is made of US only, right?
It’s gonna be in lines with the 920 if this device goes global, according to the specs.

Hey, kid. Nokia’s gonna stick around for a long time now, they have got innovation on their side, rather than stupid and lame marketing schemes.
Their naming is way better executed than HTC and Samsung Galaxy (Grand, Fantastic, Pop, Fit).
And their advertising has been sufficient lately, have been seeing some Lumia ads everyday on the TV and newspapers. Nothing lacking in that department.

I’m really looking forward to see a good Lumia running on the Silverton chipset. Or maybe I’m just a big fan of the Wintel duo after what they have done to the desktops. :)

Well, there is never a point in technology when it is ‘enough’, right? ;)
In the desktop world, yeah. We have arrived at a saturation point, I must say.
Seeing that the consumer base is shifting more towards portable devices like tablets and laptop hybrids, so it’s time Intel focusses more on power efficient chipsets rather than rolling gaming beasts on a yearly basis.

So Nokia rolled out a new phone which is just a Lumia 920 in aluminium dressing and slimmer waistline? Damn silly.

Totally agree. Many don’t even know the Galaxy Grand runs on that resolution.

But market adoption is utterly essential for a product to survive, no matter how good or bad it is. Because adoption ensures better revenue which decides the development path and life of the product.

Android is good as a mobile OS only, I don’t see what more it can offer than Windows does already.
