I did a search with “sea” and it even came up with a sign board that said “seaview” but with no sign of the ocean anywhere… a sign of things to come. super-search on steroids.

I have not used a Nexus 4, but i did have a gsm galaxy nexus, which i thought had only average-to-below avg battery life, but ever since i’ve been on the iPhone 5, i’ve realized the amount of usage is the same, and im still baby-ing my battery, stats screens on both will show a different story, but difference is that the iPhone 5 calculates usage time, which includes background processing while screen is off, while Android “screen on/usage time” is just how long the screen has been illuminated, both metrics are not easy to reconcile. I would say on average my iphone 5 lasts a bit longer than my galaxy nexus, but at the same time i do a lot less with it during that time.
For example; yesterday my battery was at 60% at around 10 am, usage time indicated was 2 hrs 05min, yet i had maybe turned my screen on for like 20 minutes in that whole time, then from 10 am to noon, i used it for a full 30 minutes screen on, and the battery life only fell another 15%, accumulated usage time by then was 3 hrs even and so on, i would guess my “screen on” time was around 50 minutes total to get from 100%-40%, but then there are times when on wifi it only falls 10% in an hour of browsing, i have given up trying to anticipate or predict how my battery will perform. This is all just guesswork.

You’re using the word “better” very loosely there champ ;P

Well I wouldn’t say the weak command of the English language is proof that source isn’t legit, isn’t it always those weird Vietnamese sites that do all those accurate leaks and stuff?
That being said, this one is definitely BS.

Am I the only one who glanced at the title and thought it read “Dieter’s Cyber Theft Act”?
EDIT: Probably.

no reason at all, except that it is considered a standard from when everything was 4:3. Some newer cameras like on the newer HTC phones, can use 16:9 aspect as default too. But, 16:9 aspect is perfect for video recording. When switching to image mode, instead of the stock app making a solid gray panel on the side, maybe a partially transparent frosted glass effect beneath the capture button. That gives the impression of a more open clean design, but at the same time offering a visual cue as to what wont be in the image.

looks pretty good, kinda like the youtube app,

I really like your interface, but one problem i foresee is that images are 4:3 while the screen is 16:9, so you will be framing a 16:9 shot and getting a 4:3 image which is either cropped or has extra above and below the image, but thats a completely minor issue for most, not to mention that the stock app still has this problem to a lesser degree, despite having a cropped viewfinder. But it’s definitely an improvement over the stock app.

i dont think it had anything to do with being maliciously misleading, just showing the best outcome possible in the camera results, and not showing the 3 pictures in between which were blurry, overexposed or noisy.

Where I am they don’t honor any sort of identification in lemon wallet, even the gym needs the actual card. Spicy pickle accepted it once, but never after that, because they need to swipe the magnetic stripe on the loyalty card.

I haven’t used it yet, but I’d like to try it out on flight tickets; that is if they ever get the Southwest Airlines app in passbook. Luckily I have the choice to not fly delta or united :)

Yeah, it was a little behind the curve when it launched even, but some things were new, it had pretty fast focus/shutter comparatively when it first came out. And I took some really decent pictures with it, it had to be coaxed into giving a decent result, in the dark it was garbage even with the flash. But it’s macro focus is still better and sharper than the phones that came after it. I need to take really really close pictures of wounds and stitches etc and I still use a GNex for that. But it wouldn’t have killed Samsung to put in a decent sensor, even a year old gs2 sensor would’ve done, but then they wouldn’t get the zero lag thing.

Your researching skills leave much to be desired, I’m afraid.
Also, Josh had been saying the Galaxy Nexus’s camera sucks on every other podcast since December 2011.

That’s true, and it takes excellent macro, for some reason really close objects can be focused on at distances that even the iPhone or HTC One X or galaxy s3 cannot resolve. But once you start snappin indoors or in the evening… Oh boy.

wait till tomorrow, when almost 2,000 titles from Warner, MGM and Universal are going to be yanked, then you wont love them that much. Hopefully, nothing good is lost.

There can be no logic when it comes to Bananarama, or seriousness. Bananarama is absolute, and therefore the preference for Bananarama is absolute. You either like it, or you don’t exist.
