Spotify was the first service that made me pay for music, Google has to launch something that is immediately better and cheaper to compete. Having said that, this is Google, so this is probably going to be in the US for 9 months before it hits Europe

I remember a couple of years back when the F1 came to Brazil, lots of Sauber team members were robbed at gun point, while Jenson Button managed to escape a gang with AK47’s. They both had large security teams. You have to wonder how big the attendance for these events will be from those outside of the Americas.

I think people are expecting lots from iOS 7, it makes sense to do a gradual role out, let people get used to the features and update the native apps when they are ready.

It probably wont be on by default, so most people will stick to the metro screen. For power users and businesses, this will be useful, as will the boot to desktop, but you can’t help feel this is more a marketing stunt to get power users to say, they’ve made it better, it is worth buying now
