On my workstation I do photo and video editing with big pretty files, I do 3D modelling. No problem.
Yet scrolling through iTunes poses a problem? It’s just very very poorly constructed software.

Thought that would be your counterargument. Considering every other piece of software I use gives me no problems whatsoever, somehow I don’t think the OS is at fault here.
So maybe iTunes for Mac is awesome. Problem is, most iTunes users these days aren’t on a Mac. So, while your calling someone else ignorant, you’re missing this point of comparison and still speaking for the quality of iTunes as a product even though it seems to be a different experience for most of it’s users..
As iTunes has been crap from day one, Apple not doing anything (or not being capable of doing anything) for all these years shows how much they truly care about their customers.

-getting kicked out of the app store after each individual download and to make things worse, if you download something at the end of a long list and want to download the app listed after it, you have to scroll through them all again because it will put you back at 1 after downloading. Same with updates…

I have an iPod an iPad and let me tell you, I’m glad I at least don’t have to use that POS for my phone.

Two music related apps

Another tip is Reddit Sync. It’s Holo too, but I like it even better than Reddit News.

I find it amusing how Android devices get slammed for the being plastic by Apple fanboys, while every iPhone released before the iPhone 4 was plastic too. Not to even discuss why plastic is simply a better material to use.

Same thing with the camera. Every model before the iPhone 4 had shit cameras way, way worse than the Android devices of the time.

Google integrating their services into Android is one of the things I love about Android.

Good design actually often has more to do with leaving things out than putting stuff in.

Whether the other phone is a Gnex or Windows Phone, it doesn’t change the fact that it shows the OneX multitasking to be worse than an iPad 1.

Very nice, what bugs me though is that new notifications cause it to move down on the notification drawer. I would much prefer for it to stay at the top like in the screenshot.

I’ll agree that as a whole the app quality on Android is behind iOS, but:

Yes, totally ugly. Not lying to myself, I actually waited for the SIII’s launch, assuming it would be my next phone. So I wanted to like it, but I just can’t.

I don’t believe it actually. Sounds more like an attempt to assure Apple fans that the grand Jobs approved it, so it’s ok to buy it and defend it to Android users/Satan.
Jobs also said they would never make 7" tablets. Well, let’s wait and see when that iPad Mini is coming. They will probably defend Job’s stance by making it 7.5"

Or they should stop their childish vendetta against Google, get of their lazy asses and write a proper app for a service that millions of people, including their own customers, use everyday.

I agree on the Gmail app being crap, but the new Google+ is very nice, Currents is pretty good, what other Google services are so bad on iOS?
They can make all services work well together because Android gives them the possibilities to do that. iOS’s closed nature is limiting, apps on iOS are much less integrated into the OS and apps cannot work together nearly as tight as on Android.

Seriously? I think the new icon is horrific, it looks more like something a construction worker would wear. Even though I run the latest Google Music, I have changed the icon to the old one. Same goes for the awful ICS settings icon, changed that to the Honeycomb one.

Further proof that Sense is crapware you shouldn’t want on your device. I think it’s sad how many reviews of the One X list Sense 4.0 being “less in your face/less bloated” as a positive point. It shouldn’t be about how tolerable it is, it should be about how truly useful or better it makes the device. Well, it doesn’t. Plus it looks like it’s made by someone who’s design experience is following photoshop tutorials.
It’s truly sad how a beautiful piece of hardware is ruined by such awful software.

Indeed, the tabs are holo but that’s just about it. Bottom navigation reminds more of iOS .
