In sorry im with addicted on this one. HTC had an opportunity to make things better for themselves but continued to make bad decision after bad decision. The HTC one s was a solid phone that HTC crippled with the lack of an sd card. I waited and waited for an HTC one x to land on T-Mobile, never happened. I waited and waited for an HTC one x+ to come to T-Mobile, again never happened. I was using a galaxy 3 that I was willing to drop for the one x+. But HTC despite the fact that they were struggling as a company opted for exclusivity. HTC also went against there own words and made a ton of little copies of there own phones, here’s a one s with a crap load of memory sorry should have released it from jump but screw you. Hey babe you seen off one x yeah that’s an ok phone but check out the even better one x+, hey like the one v well here’s the the one vx, vs, vf, and vd. HTC dug there own hole they could have done what they’re doing with the one last year but they didn’t. Sorry I feel no pity for them. I don’t want them to totally disappear as that would be bad for competition but they’re reaping what they sowed.

Here’s the thing. Everyone is blowing the build quality into this big thing which it’s not. I too love the metallic feel of HTC phones but since the one s, I’ve grown pissed at the lack of software innovation and the fact that they keep gimping there phones by not providing a memory card slot. Some would tell you that the S4 software innovations are nothing but gimmicky tricks, and yes some are but some are very useful. Like being able to silence the phone with a wave of the Palm when your eating. Or being able to look at text messages without touching the screen when your hands are dirty, or waving the Palm of your hand to take a screen shot. The feel of the phone is nice and the screen size makes playing games or watching movies a joy. The truth is that this S4 is the best phone I’ve owned, and this is coming from someone who once believed that sick was the only way to go. Now with the Google experience S4 you will have the best of all worlds. You want stock load it up, you want touchwiz load it up, wanna swap memory card or batteries go for it. The Galaxy S4 will now provide you with the best of a nexus experience as well as the best of Samsung. This will be available to all because the Google experience version will share identical hardware with the AT&T version and the T-Mobile version. Which also means that once key lime pie or whatever the next version of android is, comes out the Galaxy S4 will also have it because the good people at xda will backwards engineer it. So yes get the S4

Here’s the thing, the Galaxy S4 really is a great device, some will tell you that it feels cheap it’s running touchwiz, blah blah blah, but the truth is that despite all that it’s still a beast of device. Now one of the things that people hated software isn’t an issue, it’s running stock! Add to that a memory card slot and a removable battery. Also the added bonus of having a crap load of comparable accessories. I have to give our to Samsung this move was genius. Not only do you open up your hot new device to developers but you give long time android/fandroids what they have wanted CHOICE! ! ! I’ve been with android almost since the beginning and the one thing I have always wanted was a flag ship device that gave the option of a"skin" or stock. Now it’s not the ideal situation of turning on your device after purchasing it and deciding between stock or a skin but it’s a step in the right direction. Also keep in mind that what can be done on the stock Google version of the S4 will also be done on a rooted Samsung S4. Can’t wait

I have the black gs4 and my friend got the white one. Personally i love the black one. The pattern on the back has this iridescent effect. Depending on how you hold it and the lighting it looks black blue or silver, there are times where it has a silverish look to it like the chrome galaxy s3 and it really goes well with the chrome ring on the sides. The white one is nice and like my friend pointed out will hide scratches better but it looks kinda plain in comparison.
