I got no sympathy for them charging $15 for movies. I’d have more respect if they simply refused to hold the super expensive movies. but honestly the reason i’m not going is it’s massively overpriced. But if they can’t lower their prices they won’t get my business.

Meh. Avatar remains the only 3D movie i’ve paid for. I saw it in full Imax. In fact, for that movie it did impact the audience. I went and paid more than ever to see the movie. Was satisfied. But i’m discerning and nothing else has come out that i’m interested in seeing in 3D

No. If I feel like a game has too much narrative, I don’t want much narrative. Simple as that. How “well” it’s telling something is irrelevant. When i play games i want to play not watch cut scenes.

7 days ago on Clearwire's board snubs Sprint, throws weight behind Dish's offer
Comment
yeah the clearwire board simply wants the most money. They aren’t concerned with longterm buildout of an lte network. IT’s the buyer that will fund that, either softbank or Dish. But Sprint’s is thinking which deal will get us competing with verizon and at&t which means which one will build out our spectrum, increase speeds etc. softbank gives them lots of cash backing, the dish deal (buying sprint) means sprint gets’s 40mill in debt plus whatever loans dish takes to buy them. There are other question’s, Where’s dish gonna get the money to use it’s spectrum and continue the sprint lte buildout? Especially if after the purchase you’ve got more debt. Dish wants this tv and mobile phone network but dish is mostly rural and burbs and good luck deploying hd wirelessly over their spectrum in rural america. what they have doesn’t travel well in rural areas. Also who really wants a satellite tv network these days since they aren’t remotely growing. So why would sprint want to add a Dish? They may but not sure they want it. Better to just be mobile data.

i believe softbank also has a ton of cash to build out sprint capacity which i don’t believe Dish has.

No Starbucks actually has the proper phone scanners unlike other places. Add them to every supermarket, Target and Walmart and they’d do well too but sadly, none of those stores have capability throughout their chain. And many don’t offer it at all.

I don’t think $30 is going to deter that many people. Regardless, that’s Apple’s pricing decision. It’s their choice and they’ll either sell or they won’t based on how good it is.

this is cheaper and the only ipod touch at 16gbs. The 4th Gen is replaced. Anything else is left over inventory. Apple now sells only 3 ipod touch models, 16g $229, 32g $299, 64gb $399.
