About Dieter Bohn

Dieter Bohn is Senior Mobile Editor for The Verge. Basically, he's really obsessed with smartphones and has been since the VisorPhone. He has founded, fostered, and led technology communities for more than ten years.

Dieter has a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas and was a Ph.D candidate in English at the University of Minnesota, where he helped students and faculty use web technologies to expand academic discourse. He's very fond of books made of paper, but tries not to make a religion out of it.
