Let’s see what it’s like a week, a month and a year from now. I’m one of the doubters that FB has a sustainable business model but I’ll eat my words if I’m wrong.

I live alone and stream what I consider a lot of stuff on Netflix and Hulu Plus, in addition to playing games online and I don’t think I’ve ever gone over 125GB a month (and that’s marathoning a ton of episodes of a show in HD).

I’m assuming you have a large family to be streaming THAT much video (unless you also have other uses that are eating up data).

I’ve put as much time into this game over the past 3 days as I did into Skyrim when I was completely addicted to it, including 7 hours of couch co-op with my buddy.

Managed to build a kickass watchtower compound though. :)

The simplified crafting was a big draw for me. I don’t want to pull out my laptop to look up how to craft something as simple as a fence to keep spiders out. Yes, there is reward in figuring it out for yourself but I’d rather spend that time mining or building stuff, not trying a crazy number of combinations to craft something useful.

All those people who love the screens on their Galaxy Nexus must be delusional then.

Is there a better quality screen out there? Most definitely but that doesn’t make the screen on my phone look shit.

Nailed it. There is literally no other solution comparable to a Media Center powered HTPC that allows me to watch live and recorded TV in different rooms of my house. I already have the Xbox 360s so turning them into extenders for my HTPC is trivially easy, not that Microsoft ever even attempted to advertise this functionality.

With more and more people getting sick of being reamed by cable and cutting the cord, the appeal of Media Center HTPCs and extenders will only grow if Microsoft weren’t trying to bury it.

Agreed completely. I was hoping I wouldn’t have buyer’s remorse having just purchased the Spring GNex with the SGS3 around the corner, and Samsung fulfilled my wish completely.

People aside from Comcast and NBC executives/employees supported the Comcast/NBC merger? That’s news to me.

I’m currently a Hulu Plus subscriber who hasn’t had cable service for the past 3.5 years. I have no problems paying what they’re asking monthly ($8) even with a few commercials sprinkled in there, but I’m gone the moment this happens. The content providers seem to be doing their best to completely drop the ball defending old business models that are rapidly becoming extinct.
