You make a good point when you say it’s in no way an antisemitic comment to say “I understand Hitler”. Besides, he did allow as how Hitler had “done some wrong things”, and clarified that while he is not “too much” for Jews, since “Israel is a pain in the ass”, he’s not totally against Jews, either. I mean, it’s not like he was out there gassing Jews to death, and we all know that short of doing that, it’s not really racist, right?
