At the risk of being digitally pummeled Macbooks are worth the extra dough. My 2009 MBP is going like it just rolled off the conveyer belt. Since 2009 I’ve helped 3 family members buy 1-2 “cheap windows laptops” to replace the one that died. There’s very little middle ground anymore.
