Interesting. I just sort of assumed that wouldn’t get a proper signal so i’ve always used an armband. I’ll give it a try inside the bag.

I currently use Runkeeper on my phone because it uses GPS to track my rides and collects info about them. Even with the pebble displaying the info, i’d still need my phone outside of my bag so that it can get a GPS signal. That sorta limits the benefits of the Pebble.

I’m just disappointed that the Pebble doesn’t have its own GPS. It would be nice if I could just throw my phone in my camelbak while riding my bike and the Pebble would track my ride while providing the info to Runkeeper on my phone.

As it is, i’ll still need my phone in a place where it has line of sight for the GPS tracking.

I had a WinMo phone with full touchscreen and real time GPS using a TomTom app before the iPhone was ever released.
