Wow nice! I haven’t kept up with the T-Mo LTE rollouts lately, but that’s great news if it is officially live now. Hopefully it hits in my area soon.

You must live in one of the T-Mobile LTE test markets then? I have T-Mo prepaid on my other phone. Actually I have both an Straight Talk AT&T SIM and a T-Mo Prepaid SIM, $75 total for the month using Google Voice to keep the same number for both. I switch between both SIMS depending on where I travel to, and it’s still cheaper than paying postpaid. Sometimes it’s a little hassle switching out SIMS but hey I get the best of both worlds of unlimited data, unlimited text, unlimted voice, roaming (since I am technically not roaming because I will have both AT&T and T-Mo coverage) no matter where I go, and no contract. and I can’t wait for T-Mo LTE to work in my area. By then, T-Mo should have some LTE capable phones on both GSM and AWS bands.

I know with Sprint, you were able to get out of your contract without paying an ETF if they added new charges like this. I don’t know about AT&T since I haven’t been on them in several years.

My friend’s father is also an attorney in that law firm, but is not on this case. Morrison & Foerster is a pretty well known law firm in the Bay Area.

Totally agree. If Steve was the Yin, Bill was the Yang. I think it was that bitter rivalry that drove the 2 men to outdo each other. If it wasn’t for each other, where was the “fun” for either men? Everyone wants to be the best, but without someone to push you and become better, then there is no competition.
In the end, they realized that they were friends because what was good for Microsoft, was in turn good for Apple as well. Although it would have been great if both their visions of technology could have helped education a lot more was realized.

I actually like it, but I still continue to use stock Touchwiz launcher with it (best of both worlds). If they add a launch dock, thayt would be a big improvement.
I seriously wanted to try it for a week to give it a fair shot and it actually works ok. There are still a few shortcomings, but it still is better than average (at least for me). Most of my friends are active on Facebook (being part of an Electronic Music community, we use it mainly to promote events, and keep in touch with DJs, producers, promoters, and fans of the EDM community here in the SF Bay Area).
People who have seen the FB Home lockscreen actually like it, it is a pretty nice moving screen saver and it doesn’t lag my Note 2 at all.

HTC failed with 3D on the EVO 3D. Amazon will fail with this as well, especially since it will also have their formed version of Android on it.

True but you pay your taxes in other ways, such as higher property taxes for example. But I sure love visiting Oregon (I’m from California) since they still have full service stations where the workers pump your gas for you.

It’s actually 5GB of full speed data, after that, you are dropped to 2G speeds. I have that plan and it is a great plan for my 2nd phone.

Living in California, tacos from your local taqueria or taco truck > Taco Bell. But if I do eat fast food tacos, I also prefer Del Taco (especially since their Inferno sauce is hotter than the Fire sauce at Taco Bell).

I’m glad Samsung has made their phones easily repairable. I bought my international Galaxy Note 1 and unfortunately, international versions are not covered under the Samsung warranty in the US. When my USB charge port started acting up and wouldn’t charge anymore, I would either have to send it to England and hope they fix it, or I could do it myself. For about $15 for the part and the phone opening tools bought on eBay (screwdriver, and a couple of case separating tools), a YouTube how-to video, and 15 minutes of time, I did it myself. If I had sent it overseas to repair, it would have taken at least a few weeks and a lot more on shipping both ways. Not to mention I would have to bother my relative in England to bring it out to the warranty centre.

I think they wanted to change it up (design that is) starting with the Galaxy Note line. I read somewhere that Samsung was getting nervous about the HTC One design and it being successful, and unfortunately they didn’t have time to implement a design change in the GS series. The Note usually comes up Q3 so I bet it may incorporate a new design language, IF the HTC One proves successful in the coming months vs the GS4. Since I have been investing in the GNote line (have both the GNote 1 and 2), I’ll be anticipating the announcement of the new Note 3. I think it’ll have the internals of the GS4, but with a faster clocked Exynos Quad, bigger display, and possibly a body made with different materials (or at least more premium looking materials).
