You are likely right, and I think I’ve heard about that when Time Warner introduced their iPad app without approval. At the same time however it really just goes to show that content companies need to change their model.I want to pay for content once and access it everywhere. Not pay for it 5 times to use in 5 different places. At the same time I’m not willing to pay 5 times the price either – no 100 dollar DVDs please.

I want to formally suggest VPL – Verge Policy and Law podcast – to discuss upcoming tech laws, current court battles, copyright and patents. I always find it really interesting and enlightening listening to Nilay when he talks about law related items on the podcast and I’d like to hear more.
