so you navigate 64GB of music with the ‘forward/back’ buttons? To me that does not sound like the greatest way to do it. Does the car dash show anything to help navigate the ipod? I’d hate to do that on the 3 line screen in my car.

Not a fan of this. I plug in my ipod through AUX for podcasts, but the sound is shit for music, there’s an annoying cable to fiddle with, and controlling a touch screen device lying in the seat while driving is not the safest.

Using a CD with the controls on the steering wheel, or PHYSICAL buttons on the console (i.e. can do it with just a glance) is still much better.

if they want to save weight and cost I’m not sure exchanging a CD player for an x86 PC with a windows 8 licence is the best way to go..

and i have 1920 pixels horizontally, but they are just using about half that.. Why can’t those narrow columns expand to use my whole, glorious wide screen monitor??

I wish people would keep those damn phones down at concerts too. Why the hell are you filming 30 min of concert on your phone? What are you going to do; relive the experience filmed with a shaky cam with shit quality from the back row?? Just enjoy the damn concert instead.

hell, I’ve seen 4 (what I assume are friends) at a nice restaurant on saturday night, all messing with their phones! And not just for a seconds, but long stretches of time. I’d be seriously pissed if people did that to me.

please let me know which they are! My moto dumbphone is terrible and I need a new one. I don’t crap money so a smarphone is out of the question, but that seems to be where all the money (and thus quality) has gone.

no i have not. I have no need for that toy, but I have even less interest in the other tablets around. But it’s also pretty obvious that people just want ipads, not these other things.

well, nobody will use metro and nobody will buy these Win 8 tablets, they’ll stick to iPads, so this is really a non-issue.

So about $1 mill i iPhones? Hope they plan to make that back somehow. I’d prefer if they spent that money making the train go faster than 20 mph the last hour into NYC..

Totally. I just hate having running water! It’s so annoying!! I feel I have to drink it aaaall the time! And all this food in my fridge and the grocery store around the corner, totally distracting me from my life. Maybe I’ll go a year without eating and drinking..

Well maybe that’s because it’s now impossible to find a non-smartphone that’s not a PIECE OF CRAP!? That’s clearly where the money is, so why bother making anything else right? I don’t need, and can’t afford, a smarphone dataplan, and my garbage moto dumbphone is dying and I have serious problems finding anything that’s not worthless and painful to use, even just for texting and calling. The only thing the phone needs to do!

I’m not on facebook constantly and I don’t work on wall street, so I don’t need constant connection, but apparently I’m the only one.. They’re really pressuring me to buying a smartphone unless I want to deal with the POS they try to sell.
