More efficient crops that use less fertilizer and water is worse for the environment than organic crops that use more? And more acreage for equal food output as well? How does that make sense?

They have truly assembled an all star cast.
(can’t believe they didn’t use that in the original post)

I’ll have to dig up the article, but a CA wine grower (well; grape grower) said he’d need 7 times as much fertilizer for organic grapes, so he didn’t do it.
“Highly inefficient food; for the morally superior, upper middle class ahole” Great tagline

Arumentum ad Monsantum. My favorite!
Any GMO debate: first person to mention Monsanto looses.

There is voluntary no-gmo labels. If people want to be anti-science buy that. Stop bugging the lawmakers with this FUD

Yeah the “evil agro-science” has so far only saved a billion lives. How many have organic food saved?

“Traditional food”?
Like when it took a whole family a whole year to scrape together enough crops to barely feed themselves through the winter? With of course a few of their children dying of malnutrition before age 4-5 every now and then. And if there was one drought, insect infestation, rain storm etc etc the whole family would starve and die?
Yeah, great times!

If you want your food “unaltered” stop eating corn, grains, any fruit.. Well pretty much anything. Cross-pollination = genetic modification.

The second they get labeling the groundless scare-mongering will go into overdrive!
“If it’s safe why is there a label??! Huh? huh??”

Humbug.
Why should I pay higher prices for food so anti-science morons can avoid silly things that are proven safe? If companies want to voluntary label no-GMO (which they do now), fine. But making every group’s pet-peeve the law is stupid.
What if I don’t want to eat food handled by a jewish person; do I have a right to know? Should there be a labeling law?

Wood dust: CANCER
I loved when I saw this warning on a piece of plywood! “May contain wood dust”. No shit!
Followed by “which may cause cancer”. Ok, so what am I supposed to do about that?

I still maintain my point that in the time it takes to activate the voice thing, mute music and say “adjust AC”, I could have just pushed a button or two on the center console and be done. At the very least it’s no more cumbersome.
Sometimes doing more tech just for the sake of it is not equal to progress.

I just want to do the first part of your process: press a button! Done, no more gimmicks.
