What a load of BS, the fact that I can update apps on my GN and still use it, makes the problem not acceptable, and no I don’t experience lag when download and installing new software on my desktop. Nexus 7 hardware is the problem, and if the next nexus 7 use tegra I simply have to buy something else.

Works fine unless you are updating apps, then it lags like there is no tomorrow :S

What? He can trash talk the HTC one all he wants, but people have a habit of wanting things they don’t need, so I ask a question to confirm he actually use that feature, I didn’t have “that tone” I just asked a question. You are welcome to answer it if you use the changeable battery feature, cause I certainly don’t even thought I have two batteries for my GN :-/

Well they decided that they would sell phones better ignoring the standard and just calling it 4g, which is BS, and why people often refer to current 4g as LTE mostly, since it actually isn’t 4G. I expect they might brand this one 4.5G or something like that

4. The existence of “Greenify” is quite sad, you have to hibernate apps to prevent wakelocks and background activity to drain battery life
really? you think this is sad, when this is build into iOS?
5. Installing and uninstalling is a popup, then fullscreen. What?
I take it you are running 4.0 or 4.1, since that got changed in 4.2?
And weren’t you suppose to leave this site after that add which was the last straw, or are you a hypocrite?

I’m more likely to get hit by a car riding my bike…
no, no you are not, you are 32 times more likely to experience burglary, than being hit by a car riding a bike. If you are between 20-24 then you are even more likely to experience burglary, so please get your fact straight.
Clouds need internet connections, have outages, have service & fee changes, and sometimes get moved to some new acquisition, or worse, get turned off.
And this isn’t what if? We are talking about Google who handle over billions of people data, and these are your concern? please tell me you are using a raid system, considering the fail rate on HDD?
Can’t always live your life by what ifs.
Please learn what is common sense and what is being paranoid, at the moment you seem to think common sense = what ifs :-/

Fast forward to today. Flickr has made free a terabyte of space for each user, and Google has said a major “**** you” to me. This is what my Gmail greeted me with today:
So does Flickr save it in full quality and have a syncing tool? If no then **** Flickr, it might offer a lot of storage but it sucks for backup then.

True it wont do much for devices with low amount of RAM, but if it is only more RAM low end devices need to perform like high end, then we have come a long way. I doubt they can do much to change the issues with RAM, but if they can lower the work on all the other component, then I will still be quite happy, since it will also lower power usage.
5 days ago on Where do you guys get this info that Key Lime Pie will be optimized for low spec phones?
Comment
well it does help on the low end hardware, and unless they make changes to the OS that will slow it down, it would be kind of “optimized” for low end hardware, even thought it is just optimization overall. My comment is what they base it on, it doesn’t mean I agree with those statement, and I highly doubt google will brand their next version as such.

Considering W8.1 will be supporting miracast I would suspect that it could become popular, but it still might take some time.
