A hell of a lot more than whenever someone links to something on Youtube. When I click on a Vimeo link I actually expect to see something that’s at the minimal, decent. I click on a Youtube link and I expect the worst and most often it is. Okay, it’s not world star hip-hop, but the quality content on Youtube is completely dwarfed by the colossal amount of bad content.

What do you mean they’re not willing to? Did you not notice how many hundreds millions of consoles sold this generation? Sony removed BC and it hasn’t hurt them. Of course the PS2 was the best selling console ever so they weren’t remotely worried about people already owning one.

I’m not sure there’s really a comparison to the Tree of Life here. I can’t imagine many people think Upstream Color is boring just from the way it’s shot and the use of sound. If anything they’d think it was disturbing/unnerving/weird.
What makes this a bad movie and not just a movie you didn’t like? I don’t think it swung at anything it didn’t hit, to borrow your analogy.

Carruth’s letting you do it for far less than $50.

To not even bring up streaming is a huge misunderstanding of the way film works these days. The model is outdated because you’re also missing the point where less people are going to the theater.

I think you should first complain that every individual pizza chain has their own system before you start complaining that just one isn’t on GrubHub. Pizza places uses one service in of itself would help the problem you’re alluding to. But of course, competition.

Download the update the next day or get PSN+. It’s really only like that on the first day something is released. Though I can’t recall having had this issue for a while.

Why would you hold off? You’ve already missed out on an insane number of games. While it’s nice that some games do stay on the service indefinitely now most do not.

You’re misunderstanding me and likely what you read as well. If it locks it down to just one app (in this case the desktop) and you can’t launch anything else then you wouldn’t be able to view the start menu to launch apps.

It’s Firefox, just customize it if you think it looks hideous and old. Hell, I think Chrome looks like a child’s toy and takes up too much space. Firefox is the only browser that gives me the freedom to do what I want.
Instead of “soon” you could be doing all of this now and in a platform agnostic way.

Mine shows 58 apps instead of a percentage. Which I’m guessing they do because the percentage is below a certain threshhold. That’s only half of my apps and I really doubt the quality and legitimacy of the WP8 alternatives.

WayAway gets it right. On Android you just load the camera app and share from there. On iPhones you’re saying that you have to open the app first (which means deciding before you take the picture where you want it go) and then select. Why you are defending this when this is one of the most objective shortcomings of iOS is beyond me. Your attitude should be “Gee, it is great how Android does this, I hope that iOS gets something similar in an update.” There’s some iOS features I would want on Android (lost your phone features without needing a third party app or a business account) but you don’t see me going around saying that what Android offers is perfectly fine without the feature.
